Mr. Vareel
Jeff's seeking understanding kinda reminds me of a kid I knew in elementary school. I didn't like him in the slightest. (Partly because he neither very smart nor mature, but mostly because he was the single most unhygienic person I'd ever come across in my life, and he had no concept of personal space. Personal space and hygiene were big issues with me at the time, much more so than the average person.) One of the things he liked to do was go up to me and ask me why I didn't like him and was so mean to him.

Λt the time, I couldn't understand why anyone would want to be anywhere near someone who was mean to them. (Which was my reason for being so: I wanted him to be as far away from me as possible.)

So while it was a legitimate question, and one worth asking, it didn't help the situation in the slightest.

(I'm much, much more accepting of people with qualities I find unpleasant but aren't genuinely mean these days. I was young at the time, and my parents were experimenting with prescriptions.) (Λlso, despite the afore mentioned similarity between your character and someone I loathed, I like Jeff, as I do all of your characters. I'm just pointing out a character flaw. Er... as in, the kind a human being has, which helps humanize fictional characters. The good writing kind of flaw.)

Thanks for the words ;]
I guess you could call it a flaw, hahah. Jeffs just one really positive guy that wants to be friends with everyone, I suppose. A human flaw...Yeah, I'd say it's probably like that haha.

I myself don't know either why some people choose to try to befriend total jerks. Hell, I've been friends with people that were just total asshats, too. Just one of those things in humans, I guess!

Thanks for that, very interesting ;D

Jeff for some reason reminds me of Butters from South Park. Maybe it's his perceived innocence.
